Crossness Engines Guided Tour

28th November @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

View intt the Octagon
A chance to learn something of London’s Victorian sewer system and the site, then participate in a guided tour

After being closed for nearly all of last year, we are pleased to be open again. This is an opportunity to have a look at the buildings and engines, to take in the exhibition and learn something of the Victorian sewer system which continues to serve the capital. Note that the engine Prince Consort will NOT be in steam for this event.

Our car park is about 600m from the main building – blue badge holders will be able to park much closer to the buildings. If you travel by public transport, we are quite remote so it may be worth getting a taxi. Nearest train station is Abbey Wood on the Elizabeth Line.

Please be aware that the gate giving access from the Thames path will not be available for access to the site

Refreshements are available at an addition cost. We normally start with those to allow time for any delayed visitors to get to us.

We’ll contact you a few days before the event with more details on how to get to us.

Be sure to wear flat shoes!
