We have a stellar musical line up in store for this weekend’s Beams, Beers, and Brass Festival on 11th and 12th of July. The event features a bit of something for everyone – from traditional Morris Dancing, pop and rock favourites, and R&B tunes. Check out the line up of performers below!
Saturday, 11 July Sam Bay
Sam Bay is an acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter from South East London. He is best known for his wide-ranging repertoire of rock, pop and soul covers playing songs from artists such as Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Paolo Nutini, Ocean Colour Scene, Pink Floyd,
Radiohead, Bill Withers, Lionel Richie, Niel Diamond, Oasis and many more. Sam is a classically trained guitarist with a true passion for music. He has been playing and singing since he was 12 and has over 10 years of experience gigging live performances all around the UK ranging from wedding receptions and private parties to lively pubs and bars.
Established in 2017, the Brixton Tatterjacks are a traditional yet diverse and inclusive Morris dancing group. They perform regularly at local events and festivals across South London.
Anna Kaya Trio
A rising Bulgarian singer-songwriter blending contemporary R&B, neo-soul, and vintage-inspired musicianship, Anna Kaya creates music that feels intimate, warm, and deeply human. Writing in English while drawing from a rich emotional and cultural duality, her upcoming debut EP fully embodies this world, blending modern R&B and soul with a timeless, retro-tinted feel. Inspired by artists such as Alicia Keys, Sade, Tori Kelly, and Daniel Caesar, the project combines warm live instrumentation, organic production, and intimate songwriting rooted in emotion, vulnerability, strength, and self-discovery.
Sunday, 12 July Greenwich Morris
Established 50 years ago, the Greenwich Morris are a well known dance troupe. The group dances traditional Morris dances mainly from the Cotswold area to the accompaniment of concertinas, melodeons and accordions. They dance all year round and can be found at festivals, community events, pubs, and even abroad.
Josh Lamdin
Josh Lamdin is a London-based guitarist, composer, and educator known for his instrumental project JIAL, blending jazz, folk, blues, and fusion with introspective, improvisational music.
Sunday will also feature the Bromley Brass.
